Sarah's Smile Programs
We're Here To Support You
Sarah’s Smile is committed to changing outcomes for minority youth with Intellectual, Genetic, and Development Disorders through the below holistic and comprehensive services:

Family Support Groups
Families of children or adults with developmental disabilities may find support groups to be beneficial to their emotional, mental, and physical health. We provide these monthly group sessions to support and connect our families with activities and learning courses.
Therapy
Sarah’s Smile provides certified therapeutic services using culturally appropriate therapists. We provide treatment for Speech, Language, Occupational, Physical, Early Intervention, and Educational Therapy. Therapy can be an important part of a treatment plan for a child with a health disorder, as well as for the parents and family of the child.
Social-Relational Treatment
Social-relational treatments focus on improving social skills and building emotional bonds. Some social-relational approaches involve parents or peer mentors.
Behavioral Treatment
Our clinicians provide specialized Autism rehabilitation for our participants. These are provided through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs featuring Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Pivotal Response Training (PRT).
Medical Referrals
and Case Management
Participants and their families are provided an intake assessment and referred to the appropriate internal and external health services. Each child and family will be assigned a case manager to monitor and evaluate treatment progression and communication between providers.
Parent Skills training
Parents are provided with skills training to help them build and maintain the health of their children at home, in social settings, and in school settings. These training courses will use the most modern parental training methods to best support child development. Parent skills training can help parents to understand their child’s needs and learn how to best support their child.
